Tim Reutebuch

Tim Reutebuch,
a baritone, is a member of the Emmanuel Quartet, a group that began when he and
Joey Davis began singing together in a male quartet at Highland Academy in
Tennessee. Both he and Davis, now joined by two more recent members, continue
to make music with a quartet that sings religious music with a cappella
barbershop-style harmony.
Reutebuch was born in Anderson, Indiana. Music
was a primary activity in his home and he and his two siblings frequently sang
together. He sang in choirs from his earliest years and frequently auditioned
for solo parts. When he was fifteen, the family moved to Portland, Tennessee,
where he enrolled at Highland Academy.
After graduating from academy,
and marrying, he and his wife, Rebekah, moved to the Ooltewah, Tennessee, area,
where they and their two daughters and son now reside. When not singing with
the quartet, he works for McKee Foods Co. and with the Boy Scouts of America,
an organization his son is a member of and one that Reutebuch
has been with since his childhood.
