Naomi K. Bruette
1984 -
Namoi Bruette, a
singer, taught at Midland Adventist Academy in Kansas, a position she held for
three years. She now lives in Gardner,
Kansas. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she later moved to Arizona before
returning to Alberta, Canada, where she attended and graduated from Parkview
Adventist Academy on the campus of Canadian University College.
Bruette returned to the U.S. to attend Union
College in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she pursued a bachelor's degree in music education.
She married Robert Bruette in 2006 while attending
UC.
They then taught for a year
at the Kahili Adventist School on the island of Kauai
in Hawaii, before returning to complete their education at UC. She completed
her degree in 2009 and completed an M.Mus. in music
education at the University of Kansas in 2013. She was the choral clinician for
the Iowa/Missouri elementary music festival in 2010 and 2011.
She owns and runs the Bruette Music Studio in the Kansas City, Missouri, area and
conducts the New Haven Children’s Choir which performs for a local church.
