Evan Chesney

Evan Chesney is Minister of Music at the Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church in Apopka, Florida, a position he has held since 1994. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree in vocal performance from Southern Adventist University. He received a Master of Music from Eastman School of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Michigan State University.

From 1983–1989, Dr. Chesney taught choir, voice, and Bible at Mt. Pisgah Academy in Asheville, North Carolina. In the early 1990s he directed the choir at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in Lansing, Michigan, and was adjunct choral director and vocal teacher at Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan.
