Dana Magana, clarinetist and pianist, teaches music at Sunnydale Academy in Centralia, Missouri, a position she has held since 2008. Prior to this she taught music for two years in Sonora, Mexico.

Magana started music lessons on piano at age eleven and clarinet at age fourteen in the conservatory program at the University of Montemorelos. When she entered the university, she studied piano with Elana Bulkagova, later Abel, for five years.

Following graduation from the University of Montemorelos in 2003 and teaching for two years, Magana entered Andrews University in 2005. She completed an M.Mus. at AU in instrumental conducting in 2008.
